Wunderbare Auszeit von der Großstadt!
Wir haben sehr schöne Tage in Wendelstein verbracht, das Haus ist super geräumig und der Garten bezaubernd angelegt. Mit den Rädern haben wir kurze Ausflüge gemacht, einige Wanderungen in der Umgebung unternommen (sehr zu empfehlen: der Wald rund ums Wernloch) und die fränkischen Würste genossen. Danke, dass wir Euren Grill nutzen durften! Und 1000 Dank für die lieben Geschenke, sie sind bei den Kindern ständig im Einsatz! Ein rundum gelungener Tausch, wir können unsere netten Tauschpartner nur weiterempfehlen.

Gorgeous family house!
We had the most amazing time in Berlin and enjoyed a wonderful exchange. We loved the house and the local area, and found it very easy to get around as the transport links to the centre were very close and easy. We borrowed the bicycles and cycled down to the lake...very beautiful and a side of Berlin that tourists dont often see. Overall we enjoyed a great exchange and everything was perfect, thank you so much and maybe we will do it again sometime!

Wir haben uns bei Anita und Sascha wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und wunderbar gelegen. Unser Auto blieb stehen und wir haben mit den Rädern bzw. mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln Berlin und Umgebung erkundet. Unsere Gastgeber waren zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Relaxing in Uhldingen!
Elke and Jorg were excellent hosts. They left food in the kitchen and welcoming wine, chocolates, etc. The apartment is very conveniently located. Just a 1-2 minute walk took us to the main area of town, the marina and ferry, and many restaurants. Uhldingen is a very pretty little town and we enjoyed our stay. We would return to the area.

Superb Hospitality and Kindness!
Kerstin and Peter went out of their way to take care of us. They met us at the car rental return, gave us a brief tour of Coburg and Bad Rodach, then drove us to their home. They showed us around and explained how things worked. They had prepared a great first meal and a welcome gift, including wine. I was sick when we arrived and Kerstin arranged for me to see a specialist right away. It turned out that I had pneumonia and the doctor discouraged me from going on to our next stop in Northern Ireland. Kerstin and Peter generously offered us the use of their home and car for an extra week! While we missed out on seeing many of the sites, sitting in their rose-filled back garden was a great way to rest and recuperate. Before they left for our home, they stopped by with a gift of chocolate and pastries. Their son, Nicklas, met us in Wurzburg, where we dropped off their car. He kindly helped us get our luggage onto the train just in time for our departure. The photos of this home do not do it justice, and we gladly recommend the Theins as exchange partners.
